My First Assignment!

Coinsidently I have been given my first task of designing. The good thing about this design is I was planning to include one design on this line into my first collection. The details of the task are as follows:
1. Its a LBD (Little Black Dress) that I have to design.
2. Something that can be work in 'official outings' as per Indian standards, thus sleeves should be there.
3. Body shaped: Pear (thats what she tells me)
4. More details are yet to come.

Design details:
1. I believe I will go for the black and red theme here also. So clearly my whole collection will be around this colour combination.
2. Lower half: Definitely the dress will have a lot of flairs and flow to make her body look extreemly sensual at the bottom half.
3. Upper half: (I am waiting to look at her picture to understand what will suit her body).
4. Design: I will have a look at the design soon.

First dress for my collection

I finally thought of my first dress for my collection. I am extremely excited to bring it to life. Things that I have thought of having in my dress are following:

1. Dual colour: Preferable colours are Black/Navy blue and Red.

2. Full sleeves: bell style.

3. Neckline down to the belt.

4. Collar filled with a lot of layers and can be extended

I am indeed looking forward to bring this out to life. I am also still thinking of a name to this collection.

Objective of this blog

I have started this blog to Chanel all my thoughts about fashion and thoughts that will aid me in opening my own fashion company. I hope with Ganeshji's blessings I will soon be able to launch a whole collection of my own very very soon.

It will be fun to see how this whole thing goes from this day forward.
